Nina Ansaroff vs. Justine Kish added to UFC 195

November 7, 2015

January’s UFC 195 lineup continues to take shape with the addition of a women’s strawweight bout.

Nina Ansaroff (6-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will meet Justine Kish (4-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at the event. The bout was announced on UFC Tonight, with later clarification on the date provided on Twitter by Zuffa Editorial Director Thomas Gerbasi.

UFC 195 takes place Jan. 2 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Ansaroff made her UFC debut last November, dropping a unanimous decision to Juliana Lima at UFC Fight Night 56. The loss snapped a five-fight winning streak for the 29-year-old veteran. She was scheduled to face Rose Namajunas at UFC 187, but was forced to withdraw from the bout the day of the fight due to the flu.

Kish, 27, will be making her octagon debut at the event. She has rattled off wins in her first four professional bouts, including two submission victories to kick off her career. In her most recent bout, Kish defeated current UFC fighter Randa Markos at RFA 12 on Jan. 24, 2014. She was a cast member on “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 20 but was the only fighter on the show to not fight at the TUF 20 Finale due to a torn ACL that also kept her from participating in the tournament format of the show.

The latest UFC 195 lineup includes:

  • Champ Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit – for welterweight title
  • Andrei Arlovski vs. Stipe Miocic
  • Joseph Duffy vs. Dustin Poirier
  • Neil Magny vs. Stephen Thompson
  • Lorenz Larkin vs. Albert Tumenov
  • Drew Dober vs. Erik Koch
  • Edgar Garcia vs. Sheldon Westcott
  • Nina Ansaroff vs. Justine Kish
